Skip asked me to be Mod here and I accepted for two reasons: It's something I know about and it's one of the least confrontational forums on HF. Heck, the closest this forum has had to a rumble is a loving debate over what makes the best shelter... campers are just mellow. I like that. No changes save one: I'd like to start a thread for people to buy, sell or trade gear. I'm getting ready to pare down my collection of stuff and I have a lot. I know we already have a "For Sale" forum but this is specific to camping and outdoor living. It will probably be just a sticky to list what you're looking to buy sell or trade and from that point responses need to go to PM. Any other suggestions? Zoom
How about a thread for hippy friendly campgrounds. I know that there is a travel section, but it appears to aimed at the well funded traveler.
