Sunday, Nov. 25 there will be a dinner followed by an interfaith prayer service which will begin a three day hunger strike and a non-violent "sleep-in" protest at the Mahaffey Theater. on Wed. the Republican Candidate Debate will be held at the theater and we will be there for a rally to call attention from national and international press to the inhumane treatment of the homeless ordered by Mayor Baker and carried out by the St. Pete Police Force. since i spent nearly three years as a homeless street musician and currently have a home in St. Pete, i feel called to be a part of this protest. i wiil be sleeping outside with our less fortunate sis's and bro's and from time to time, a few of my friends will be popping by to play some music with me in order to help out the morale of the scene. i hope some of you Rainbow Warriors can find the time to come and be with us for our peaceful protest. it's likely we'll get harrased by the coppers so it'd be a good thing if Shanti Sena could have a big presence. i know this is very short notice, i'm sorry.
