I'm all good with good cops, but sadly in this county and town, we have a total of like 3 that aren't total power-tripping bastards. However, the cops in Randall County, Potter County, and the Amarillo city PD are pretty freakin' kickass. I can't even count how many times county deputies have helped us out while stranded between Amarillo and here (it's a long ass empty stretch of road with horrible cell phone reception).
It is unfortunate when we meet those who don't follow the same moral code as us, but do not discount those who bravely put themselves in harm's way. I have two very close family friends who are police officers, and nothing short of GOOD people
i have had good and bad experiences with cops, its only the fact that more of them make me feel unsafe rather than protected. you still find a few good cops who arent assholes who understand how things should be dealt with, such as finding a couple roaches in the ashtray even though you live in a town that you let ppl borrow your car so you cant be accountable for ppl toking in the car, so he smells the car to see that we werent smoking recently and the fact that none of us had nothing on us proof that it wasnt us, instead of taking the roaches from the ashtray he leaves them in there and lets us be on our way haha
Fuck tha police I know its only a job at the end of the day.. but why do they have to choose one that enforces bullshit laws? You end up being a robot for the state.. enforcing laws whether you agree with them or not.
