Yes Donna, I've heard of Damanhur ! Some of my friends went there.

The place is really extraordinary and their story about how they built temples underground in spite of the suspicion of the government is interesting. Otherwise, it seems that people are not very open, they work or worked a lot and don't give an image of happyness and free life style. By the way you have to pay to visit Damanhur.

They have a beautiful website you should see:

http://www.damanhur.org/temple/ (for the virtual visit of the temples)
and http://www.damanhur.info/en/html/home.asp (about their work and their ideas as a federation and a community)

    You're welcome Donna !

Are you really from Croatia ? I've heard that there are some communities or eco-villages in Croatia. Do you know some ?

    With Love....
