Jury nullification only goes so far, and a judge can still set aside the verdict if he thinks it's a miscarrage of justice or the jury is blatantaly flouting the law, sorry to burst your bubble.
Sorry to burst your bubble but that is incorrect. Definition of Jury Nullification - Jury nullification occurs when a jury returns a verdict of "Not Guilty" despite its belief that the defendant is guilty of the violation charged. The jury in effect nullifies a law that it believes is either immoral or wrongly applied to the defendant whose fate that are charged with deciding. They can retry you but if you read a little history you'll find that historically juries would just continue to acquit. This has and does work. There have been several recent cases. The thing is this is never publicized and judges no longer inform juries that they retain this right. This is one of the most important rights we possess and we need to use it more often.
