The reason why I have 'cables' in brackets is because I think that this project is easy enough to both Learn How To Knit and Learn How To Knit Cables, so it's like a two-for-one deal. So, if you want to either learn either or get more practice, make the wrist warmers! Make a few pairs for the holidays!

I've left links to thorough, pictured instructions on how to do some of the basics, and have broken down the pattern into a couple threads to make things easier, and to also more thoroughly explain each step.
