So you metal nipple'ers tell me everything you know about this/about your experiences. I was thinkingg of getting it done, but I was worried it would like permanetly alter my nipples which is not an appealing concept...would it be like having erect nipples all the time? and if you just got one would it feel really lop sidded?
Well, I had nip rings for about 6 months. i could never get them to heal properly, but I've had that problem with other piercings, so it could just be me. Anyway, nip rings are interesting in that they are a pseudo surface piercing, which means they are trickier to heal and require a lot of time and babying to get fully healed. Just be prepared for ggood aftercare and treating them extra gently. Mine were always extra sensitive, but that could be because they were never fully healed. There are two little scars on each nipple from the ring, but its not like they are deformed are terribly noticeable. Hope that helps
me and my girl friend both have one or i should she had one i still do, never had any problems with mine healed in a week maby 2( all my piercings heal very fast) and mine is not noticable but i am a guy and i have a barbell in my nip as of now. my girl's never seemed to heal( tipical for her always takes long time to heal) but it wasnt somthing that was noticable unless she didnt have a bra on. hers has now healed compleatly cant even tell it was in there and she had it for 2 years. and no its not like having a erect nipple all the time it only makes your nip stick out the width of the ring or bar thats through it and thats not much. as far as lop sided its going to be a personal thing i only have one but im geting a tat on the opposite side to balance( i like balance) and as far as pain goes its not bad hurts less than ear lobe percing imo hope this helps
It's not all that painful because your endorphines are running really high. I have both of mine peirced and I got them done at the same time, I can say that I didn't even feel the first one but the 2nd one felt exactly like getting a shot in the arm. They will not stay erect after they are peirced, but they do swell up quite a bit. I don't know about the lopsided thing, I have both mine done because I am of the opinion that only weenies don't go all the way and have them both done. I know that mine are MUCH more sensitive since I got them peirced, don't really know if anyone else has had that experience. You have to take really good care of them. Wash them with plain old orange dial soap and you should have no problems. But be sure to wash them after you wash your hair and your pits, otherwise you will get soap residue into the peircings and that can case infection. And be sure to rinse them well for the same reason.
I have had my nipples pierced for about 3 years now and i still love them. I dont know about all this talk of them not hurting. Mine hurt like hell to be honest but i would do it again if i had to take them out for some reason. To care for it you could get a empty milk gallon (clean out first) fill it up with water and pour a tablespoon of sea salt inside. Shake well, then pour into a shot glass and put the shotglass over your nip and hold it there for awhile. Becareful not to catch it on anything (like a bodywash sponge) because that sh!t hurts. Also I suggest a ring instead of a barbell for the whole healing procces. $00.02
^^^mine hurt like a mofo, too. But, like all mods, the pain is not a consideration if you want it. Sea salts are the shiznit. Dial soap is good if you went somewhere nasty, but for multiple time a day cleanings, sea salt soaks are the best for almost all piercings.
i used to have mine pierced but took them out after a few months cause i didnt like them anymore and i was having trouble healing them. i reccomend barbells for the initial jewellery. i had rings and they suck. they get caught on everything and it hurts like hell when they get flipped up. i was afraid id have permanent scarring on my nipples too, but you can hardly tell i had them pierced. i have friends who have just one and they havnt mentioned that it feels lopsided. they dont stay erect all the time but they are more sensitive. just watch out for towels! that shit hurts. just clean them with sea salt soaks and a bit of really mild, unscented soap in the shower or if you get them really dirty.
I have had mine pierced for about 7 years. I love them! I have 10g Horseshoe rings in them. Mine are pretty small though, I have 1/2" jewelry in them. Actually I think it is a lot like have my nipples errect all the time. One thing not mentioned is the sensitivity of them. Before I had mine pierced, they were just there. Now, all I have to say is WOW. I know people who have taken them out and the "erectness" did not go away. Disfigured? No, I did not think so. I must say I do really like them.
i have had mine peirced almost 3 years i think. i remember them hurting like hell and being sore for a week or so. now they are great. i never had any major problems or anything
I wanted to add something. I had my nipples pierced seperately. My right one had to be pierced 3 times. (Choose a shop very wisely). It took almost 2 years for my left nipple to be fully healed. It only took about 3 weeks for my right one (3rd try). Different jewelry, washing techniques, "alone time" all contribute to healing time. Leave them alone. MOST IMPORTANT!!!
i've had both my nipples pierced and there was no deformation or feeling lopsided(i got em done 1 year apart from each other). the only problem i ran into was when i got my first one done ( i was 16) my body rejected the jewelery and therefore i had to remove it but i didn't happen with the 2nd one. I got a hoop in tyhe first time and it caught on a lot of things, while when i got my other nipple pierced, i got a barbell(until it was fully healed) because i didn't ever snag on clothes and was more comfortable. i would definitly suggest getting a barbell at first and changing it later
I've decieded! woo! I'm getting it done this Saterday! but just my left nipple to start with cause I don't have much moneys, and I want to get a barebell just cause I'm not a big ring person and I love the idea of having a little ball on eachside of my nipple... so excited yay!
Just make sure that they dont make the little hole passage longer then the barbell itself or ull run into problems. This is y my right nip has a ring, the barbells are better though. good luck :sombrero:
I have my nipple pierced. It's been pierced for about two years without a problem. I usually forget I have it, and clean it in the shower if I happen to notice it. It just kinda takes care of itself
I had both of mine done and it took about a year to heal. I was going to give up but I liked them too much and I just stuck it out. It hurt like hell but it was worth. Now I am looking to replace the initial jewerly but am not sure how to take them out to replace it. Also, I can't find anything I like.
I have mine done, they hurt but not terribly, and after 4 years I'm thinking of taking them out, the effect has kind of worn off. They were fun for awhile, but meh.
