how do you feel about calling a black haired pet the N word?

i have a friend who has a black cat, who calls him the n-word.

would/should that bother you?

If it's meant offensively then why would you dignify it by taking offense? Seriously. Otherwise, who cares?

 

I've always thought it would be funny to name a pet "go away" so you would be like "come here go away". But on the subject of calling the cat ******, the cat doesn't care, but there's probably something wrong with the dude who named him that.

 

Why not name the pet "Stain" so when you call it you can yell "Come Stain" outside at the top of your lungs?

My mom grew up in a farming community and said it was very common when she was a kid....doghouses with "******" painted over the door etc

I'm bothered by anyone who uses the n-word, it wouldn't matter if it's directed towards a pet or person.

 

Coming from where I live I have alot of african american friends and I am personally not offended by it, but I ask you this. If your friend has/had an african american friend in thier house would they still call the pet that? Would your friend feal comfortable saying that same thing in front of someone who may be offended by it? If the answer is NO then your friend needs to stop....
