hmm interesting it DOES seem perfectly legal lol! No analogue, not a research chemical. But I have no idea where you'd get some i'm sure some research chemical vendors would carry some but I think this would be considering asking for sources then since they would carry other things which are iffy with their legal status. I always thought it was at least considered an analogue of some sort never bothered checking until now. Doesn't seem to be much info on it.
google? here i did it for you....http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=N,N-dipropyltryptamine&btnG=Search 1st result is scam site
Idk they may find a way to get you under the analogue thing, "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Research_chemicals" It's read there, but then again I'm not too sure.
idk, but erowid says it is not a schedule drug or illegal in any way pretty much. i just really want to find a vendor so i can get me someee
Oh, yeah it may not be scheduled but most of the RC's can get you prosecuted under the Federal Anologue Act, (if you are in America). Basically it's something a bit more advanced where, if a drug you have is chemically/structurally related to an already scheduled drug, it is possible for you to be prosecuted for whatever act you were doing it with (dealing, using, carrying, etc). Did you ever consider other RC's or does just this one catch your interest?
How common is this exactly? It sounds pretty rare. Then again ive never gotten an rcs so i dont really know.
Even in the RC scene it is quite rare. This may seem strange when you learn that it's totally legal, and in fact used in a religion based in the USA, but the reason is due to the nature of the experience. It makes DMT look like doing your math homework. I exaggerate, obviously DMT is still a maximally intense experience, but DPT is all that plus a whole other level of violent intensity. It's like being raped by the entire pantheon of hindu gods simultaneously in your synapses, cells, mind, and heart, dying, being reborn, melting into infinity/eternity, being on 100 hits of acid for 3 hours . . . all these descriptions work ok. Definitely not a saturday night buzz. Definitely not something most people repeat more than once in their life, if they even get the courage to do it once. If you ranked all your life experiences in order of intensity, you might find that at the top of your list is "being born", "dying", and "that one time I did DPT".
I'm surprised you haven't heard of it. DMT is more mentally intense, complex and intricate but DPT is a heavy trip.
Here is a TR from me, it's not too in depth but a general idea. It's what I imagine a speedy ayahuasca trip would be like. http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=412734&f=126
