Some of them are getting quite tangled together now, not at the ends but in the middle. Thing is they are very very flat, maybe inch and a half across but only a couple of eighths of an inch thick. Is there much that can be done. Btw I'm lazy (hence the dreadlocks) so if it takes mega amounts of effort then it's probably not worth it.
i dunno, palm rolling never works for me. i have pretty flat dreads right now, and i've noticed that it's just how my dreads come together. a section of hair will loop up on itself in little curls, then gather more hair. it's pretty flat, and then as it starts to tighten up horizontally, they get rounder. how old are your dreads? i'd just wash them and give them some time. keep on being lazy.
all mine were super flat like that until recently. now many of them are shortening up and getting really round. so if i were you id just give em some more time and see what happens.
all my dreads at the back are paper flat, with hundreds of holes, loops, curls, loose hair....i say fuck it, it will work itself out after a few years im sure =)
