Hey everyone. My school does drug dog checks every now and again. I dont take my weed or bowl with me to school but my jacket that I allways blaze in is allways in my locker. If my jacket is in my locker can the dog smell the pot smoke? I have also had my bowl and weed in the pockets so there has been weed in it.
If a dog can smell some weed in a baggie just by walking past a locker, a jacket reeking of pot smoke might be a bad thing to keep in your locker.
yes, but if they find nothing, (regardless of how much your clothes smell like bud) they can do nothing.
Even if my jacket is not in my locker when they do the serch will they still find something because my jacket has been in my locker?
dude don't worry, as long as you don't have anything with you at school or in your car......they can search all they want but they aren't going to find anything. Worst case scenario if the dog sniffs out your jacket but they don't find anything, they might give your parents a phone call.
Even the best drug dog isn't perfect and will have occasional false positives. The person handling the dog will know this, but he/she won't think that you know it, so they will try to pressure you into confessing to something. Deny everything / admit nothing.
yes it will smell your reeking coat from a mile away. and anywhere and everywhere you drag it, it will still hunt you down. be afraid, be very afraid.
yes they can smell it in your locker. if you dont have anything on you and they say shit, they still cant do shit case you arents commiting a crime smelling like a herb haha one time though this check hada jacket that smelled like weed in her locker, the dog smelled it and they put a steak out on the girls house and found that the parents were smoking, pretty fucked up but its true.
I was gonna say... if you don't have it on you, they can't do anything... BUT they can assume that you or your parents smoke, and take further action. I don't know about drug dogs, they're all different in sensitivity and everything, but I had a very weed-happy dog and I know if he smelled your jacket that reeked like pot, he'd probably be extra-friendly, haha... and we didn't even have to train him!
Well I found a new jacket today. So it looks like ill be in the clear. Ill just wear that one to school. Ill have to be sure to never smoke in it aha.
Honestly man possession is 9/10ths of the Law.. if you don't have anything on you then you're almost always in the clear. I wouldn't worry about your sweatshirt at all... don't sweat it just keep your herb at home and away from school zones. I personally think you should get an alliance of kids together and protest the Police invasion of your school though. We (SSDP) battled shit like this throughout my time in high school and I am involved in some things on the college level currently-- you won't stop the police from comming in and going through kids stuff per se but you make it A LOT harder on them and they do it less frequently if they know that the students of your school will protest them every time they come. And once again as long as the protesters don't have herb on them... you all are fine.
My school is really gay man. I hate it there but I can come home smoke my herb and create my own world. about 80% of the people in my school of 2,700 kids smoke weed. And the police are trying to crack down on weed and teenagers HARD. But its really not working. I know about 20 kids that got caught in the past 4 mths. But they all were super big idiots. Bringing weed to school, hot boxing there car at lunch, hiding there shit in there car etc.. Me I leave my weed at home in a safe spot. I blaze in safe spots and at my friends houses. There just needs to be less stupid people at my school ahaha.
Back in high school, my friend Chris got expelled because he was slightly high and had a lighter and a bottle of visene. Granted it was his second offense, but the lighter and visene are what made the difference. Make sure you don't have anything associable to weed.
I'm telling you man.. organize the stoners. Give the police hell when the come to crack down on you all next time and make sure no one has anything or anything associated with herb and it'll work. They'll get pissed off at first but no one really likes to spend the money it costs to fight with angry teenagers. As long as the teenagers can maintain their solidarity the police will go after easier targets.. not your school. Right now your school is just an easy target. Y'all should take control of your community.. 80% of 2,700 is def a large group of people that don't want to be consistently harrassed by the police.
Yea I hear you man. The cops around here are chill if your not dumb. I would rather lay low than be a target. I am already an easy target with my long hair, Pink Floyd/ Dead shirts and leather jacket. I have never ever been fucked with by a cop (knock on wood).
Well thats the thing if you organize as a school, or as a collective stoner community then you aren't a target because you're a group of people you know what I mean? whereas if you allow cops to invade your campus then regardless of how you look you are the precise target of those police officers because you're a pothead.
Power in numbers. Your opinion will be heard if 80% of the school gives it to those cops. Just don't be stupid enough to get caught. But yes, if they did smell the jacket, then they would probably notify your parents or something. Depending on how they feel about you smoking, it could be bad.
