Young group of people living togather ?

Im 17 almost 18 ....and i mean is there any place jsut simple were a bunch of young fun loving people live in a area togather.....i mean whats with the world todayy it seems like all the places where a group of people live togather are like cults and idk just scary stuff. why cant we just be free and do what we want living with other people who want the same thing ?
