Yea, but the books were so much better in my opinion. My favorites were the Haunted Mask, How I Got My Shrunken Head, The Abominable Snowman From Pasadena, and Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes. Remember those? :)

^ I remember all but the snow men, and my favorite was the Werewolf Swamp one, I don't remember the exact name... I liked that book better than the episode for sure.

Anyone else read the 'choose your scare' ones?

The abominable snowman from pasadena was one of the last books in the original series I think, right before rl stine started doing the series' where you could pick your own endings and stuff. That's right when I got out of it. I remember Warewolf Swamp but I can't remember the name either at the moment.

I'm still amazed that they haven't been sued by whoever owns the rights to the twilight zone for the evil dummy series they did.

    R. L. Stine. was a genius in my mind.
The books were really good. & the movies too.
Stay out of the basement. The Mask I. Let's get invisible. Monster Blood.
    my favorites.
Mine are all from the original series but, I believe they made another series in 2000.

I read some of the choose your scare. But, I found them harder to find.
I read Escape from the Carnival of Horrors & Trapped in Bat Wing Hall.

My oldest son, who is 9, LOVES the Goosebumps movies. We order them for him through Netflix (we don't get cable, haven't for 11 years!)

My twins, who are newly 6 years old, are a bit afraid of the movies, but will still watch them anyway even though they have a death grip on the couch and their eyes are as wide as saucers. I tell them they don't have to sit and watch it, but it's like they can't stop themselves, they simply must watch it anyway. *laughs*

I think the movies are cool, they're fun, and okay, yeah, pretty cheesey at times but I like that the movies are innocent enough, scarey but mildly so for the kids, and that I don't have to worry about bad laungage or inappropriate stuff that I think they're too young for yet, because goodness knows that a majority of kids' shows are pure crap anymore. Goosebumps are just good, clean fun with a little scare thrown in.

I think he's read just about every Goosebumps book too. His favorites tend to be the "choose your scare" ones. He was actually reading the books first before he even found out about the movies.

Loved it. Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark were two of my all time favorites. I miss the classics.

I read those books so much when I was a kid. I found myself watching one episode just recently to pass time before I left for night school.
