Donuts anyone?

I volunteered at the Salvation Army today registering families and individuals to receive a Christmas food and toys hamper, and the people that work for SA gave me a whole box full of Krispy Kreme donuts because I'm a poor student living a basement.

I can't eat a full box. I've only had one so far.

Anyone want a donut? Anyone want two?

I'll start boiling the water for some fair trade organic peppermint tea. Enjoy!

 

Does working at the salvation army mean you get free records?

 

i usually dont eat donuts but i guess i can eat one with you, nobody should have to eat alone

 

Krispy Kreme is nasty. I thought they were good the first couple times I had them, but they're way too sweet.

 

They are really sweet, so take one.

Why would I get free records, exactly?

 

Even more strange: how could you possibly resent the fifty cents they charge a record so much that you'd spend hours working there simply to avoid it?

 

Someplace in a box I have old bible camp stuff from my father when he was a little boy in Minot North Dakota from the SA. Dated back in the early 40's, his family were dirt poor farmers back then.

 

I havent bought a donut in over a year up tell few weeks ago at 3am when i was drunk. Damn that was good.

 

its a southern thing..
krispy kremes were made to be ate with a steaming cup of way to strong coffee.
