Lately I've found myself thinking really deep about philosophy, politics, and life in general. it's gotten to the point where I just have to have an outlet for it. so, here we go. From what I've gathered, there are 2 distinct types of people on this world You're either an opressor, or one of the opressed. Opressors: Are SLAVES to moral codes given to them by their "god", their government, or themselves. Not only are they enslaved themselves, they feel the need to control others (control=force=violence) They believe that life is how others see it. They believe conforming, being normal, and FALLING IN LINE are the only ways. They believe that "Good" people follow laws, and to break laws is to be "Bad" They believe that the law is reason. They believe it's best that the government take our money (taxes), because of course they know whats good for us better than we do. They believe that while you shouldnt be able to use cocaine (its bad for you you know) of course you should be forced to fight and die for your country in some strange foreign land halfway around the world. You should be ashamed of anything that makes you TOO happy. THE OPRESSED: Believe that the important things in life are LOVE, FREEDOM, AND HAPPINESS. They DONT wish to control others. They believe that life is what YOU make of it. It's OK to BE DIFFERENT. Life is too short to live under rules, ITS YOUR BODY AND YOUR LIFE, AND NOBODY ELSES. They believe that Reason IS their law. They believe that we should have the freedom to spend OUR money the way WE like. They believe that the notion of simply fighting for a "country" is simply ridiculous. They believe that "shame" is, for the most part, engineered to keep people unhappy. I've come to the conclusion that Freedom, Love, and Happiness are all that is good. Religion was created by people LONG ago as a tool to keep the masses enslaved. Also, government is, by it's very nature, evil. It's a cancer. Noone has the right to govern anyone else. Yes, it's extremist. Thoughts?
I think the oppressors are pretty extreme actually. And that common sense is what can save us from them.
