I'll be backing packing in Egypt for a few weeks next year. I plan on starting in Cairo and then working my way down the Nile to Aswan and then back again. Does anyone know any backpacking hostels in Cairo that I can book in advance for my first few nights, and what is the best way for backpackers on a budget to travel around Egypt? Cheers.
