I stumbled across this forum looking for alternative lifestyle and thinking forums. After checking this out, most people seem very polite, helpful, and active. So I'm here to stay I guess. Hehe. A lil' bit about myself. I'm a girl who lives in polluted, industrial, crappy NW Indiana pretty close to Chicago. I'm planning to go to art school and hopefully take off from there. I love the arts, drama, music, computers, video games, anime, manga, cute little fuzzy animals, and dark humor. I'll be around, so see you out there!
HEY NEWBIE!!!!! Welcome, welcome. I used to live in crappy place; overcrowded, over populated, corrupt, dirty, ugly Miami. That's right, I said it, Miami sucks. All you hear about is the beach, not the rest of the place. Anyways, hopefully you can move to a more beautiful place when you go to art school?? I think you will find the people here to be pretty helpful with questions you have, pretty knowledgeable with their comments, and those I have come across a few morons (it IS open to anybody) they seem to be few. Thanks for the welcome! By "art school" I meant "art college." I hope to move far north where it's cold and snows more than it does here. Don't we all have our little dreams and ambitions? I've noticed there's SO MANY sub-forums! The more I look, the more I like!
I just moved to tennessee for university. I moved up here because I HATE the heat. HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT!! But then I don't think I could stand the cold of NW Indiana. Where are you, around Gary? Too damn cold. I've seen pictures of Notre Dame in Jan. Too damn cold. Maybe not polluted and nasty, but still cold. Snow is cool, but damn, there is a limit. But, yes, we all have our little dreams and ambitions, don't we. If we can't dream, what do we have. Then you go make your dream a reality and everything is beautiful. I live riiight next to Gary. Summers get to be 80-90F and winters are usually 15-35F. Nice range of seasons. But you get used to the scorching heat and the frosty cold.
