don't know if this is the right spot, but which tests are the most accurate? 3 weeks ago my boyfriend and I had a condom break on us and now i am a week late...... i really need to take a test, so which one should i use? and also, if i am pregnant, can i sue trojan? i can't even believe that their "triple-tested" condoms break......
condoms are only 99% effective, they leave that 1% as a loophole so no you cannot sue get any of the preg tests. i used the cheapest ones and they always gave me the right result (not preg). all sex carries the risk of pregnancy, even if youre on teh pill and using condoms that have spermicide on em
As a lawyer, I am quite sure that condom makers have protected themselves from lawsuits in most jurisdictions with disclaimers such as "If used properly, this condom is effective against pregnancy". If you sue, expect to have your sex life explored entirely. Did the condom have a reservoir tip, and was the air pinched out correctly before it was rolled on? Is your boyfriend uncircumcised, and did he retract his foreskin before putting it on? How old was the condom? Was it carried in his back pocket prior to use, or was it in a drawer? Do you get the drift of the questioning?
ill never believe you people when someone tells me they broke a condom, i think its just another way for someone to get out of ( well one night i was lazy and i let him come in me) but ill lie about it, to make it look like we were trying to provent it...please, you know how much a condom can withstand? I can put both my hands in one, and pull it over my foot and it still wont brake, what the hell are you doing? hanging from the walls with the condom? come on now, honesty here.....would be best. IM GLAD YOUR NOT PREGNANT, NEXT STEP IS TESTING FOR STDS... GOOD LUCK
Damn, why are you so bitchy about people breaking condoms?! I know PLENTY of people that used them right and everything, and still broke 'em, and I've heard from tons of people (older folks included) that certain brands break pretty easily... but hey, I'm not here to talk about breaking condoms, I was married for over a year and we decided "we're not gonna say 'we're trying' but it'll happen when it's supposed to". Anyway, since Allonym's reply covered "negative" results, I can vouch for it... I got the cheapest test there was and it showed up positive in (seriously) less than 15 seconds, and I was only 3 days late. They all work the same, sometimes it just depends because some are easier to read than others.
