I've smoked it that was a couple of months old but I am just curious if anyone knows how long its smokeable, like how long does it take for the thc to naturally break down into other chemicals or the weed itself to stale and become something not worth smoking. I had a friend to tell me once that he would somke anything 10 years old and found in a shed, but I'd prefer not to take his advice, lol. Here lately I dont feel the need to smoke as often so its very rare that I do(I decided smoking everyday was no longer needed). I have a bit left over, one half blunt, one roach and a bud and I am wondering how long that will last stored in a film container?
you´re probably not going to want to hang on to a roach or a half-blunt or anything that´s partially burnt. it´s going to be NASTY when you re-light it. at most, i´d smoke a roach a day later - but only if i was really desparate. otherwise, weed can be kept for a long time. put it in the right container and you´ll be good for at least a year (speaking from experience), probably more. but if you´re looking to only get high every now and then, buy smaller amounts. go 2 or 3 ways on an 8th with some other people if smaller amounts arent available. unless the weed is worth saving, you´re better off to be smoking "fresh" herb
Once upon a time my friend's mom took away a quarter we had just bought for a friday night. My friends mom is a bit of a stoner... apparently... so she saved it for herself... Approximately 9 months later he went digging through his moms closet to find his tin of weed... after this 9 months it gave birth to an army of mold soldiers and - just kidding, He smoked it and got fucking litoff his ass. Morale of the story, weed can last 9 months at least even when stored under non-ideal conditions.
