I also just got into this Eurpoean band. They remind me of a metal version of Coldplay. The singer has a beautiful voice. It's a different kind of rock...melodic with an edge. If you wanna check them out, listen to 'sunburn' ' new born' and ' dead star'...my favorite songs...
I finally heard them the other day and I loved it... If only I could afford a cd, and I wasn't on a cd buying boycott..... sigh....
muse are amazing, if you like radiohead they're very similiar to the bends era radiohead, well they were when they recorded showbiz, i've seen them live twice, last year and it was possibly the best gig i've ever been to in my life. there's rubbish, then bad, good, amazing, and then there's muse, in a catagory of their own. NO-ONE touches Muse at the moment!! jaz
Mostly because of RIAA suing downloaders.... I'm not a downloader myself, but I think it's retarded... If they're losing so much money, how can they still afford to prosecute a bunch of 12 year olds for downloading the theme to Full House? Plus, Harvard did a study earlier this year that concluded that they aren't even losing that much money from downloading.... people just aren't buying music period, because most of the music they're putting out isn't worth wiping your ass with.... And I never have enough money to buy them anyway...
His voice sometimes annoys me, but I saw them at Glastonbury and was blown away. They certainly make alot of noise for a 3 piece.

I love Muse to bits!! been into them for a couple of years since i heard deadstar...then i was hooked! lol. I agree that Matt Bellamy's voice is the kinda voice that you either love or hate, and i personally love it!! They came to Glasgow last year for the absolution album but i couldnt go coz it was slap bang in the middle of my exams! I was seriously pissed off!!!!!!!! I would say check out ' Origin of symetry' and/ or ' absolution' if you havent heard them before now. peace and love xxxxxx
almost didn't reply because you might think i'm a poser but Muse is great imo ,have loved them ever since i saw them opening for the band Live a couple of years ago. the only thing that needs some improvement is Mat's breathing because you can hear it in every sentence which can be annoying at times.
I'm going to see Live on Saturday.... I didn't get to see them when I was really into them in high school, so I'm glad I finally get to. I saw Ben Folds last night. Much fun.

I also liked them better during the Throwing Copper and Secret Samadhi days but they are still a very good live-act, you will have a great time. back to Muse now favorite Muse song is Citizen Erased .
dunno whats happenin in usa, but in uk muse have just released their new version of Butterflies and Hurricanes off Absolution. On the album it's just piano, bass and drums, but this version has guitar too! it rocks!! Jaz
