My advice would be keep your grow small. You can fit 6 plants in a small cuboard and still get 12 ounces a crop. An ounce a week of the strongest weed out there will keep most smokers happy. Then if you are busted a slap on the wrist is the most likely outcome.

Hi I just joined HF, and I hope some Feds are watching so they can see how totally harmless we are.

In a related matter, can someone explain how I get photos in posts? I tried uploading to a gallery but the files were too big--so do I have to compress them and then link the galleries url? DOn't laugh!

    Or do I attach them?

My understanding is the servers for these forums are located in Amsterdam. The servers would have to be either hacked or supeona-whatever. Nothing is stopping a hack, but as far as legally getting the information, and basing a case solely on your postings, I don't believe Amsterdam would be leveraged into handing over the server info-at least not as easily as if they were located in lets say Canada. However, if they did hack in and gain your personal info, it would be enough for a needy DEA agent to possibly begin an investigation, and if you are slipping in enough areas of your grow or personal/smoking life, a warrant is just around the corner-especially in this age of terrorism, the Patriot act is nuts.

Using a proxy server can greatly cut down on your risk, and if nothing else hide you from your local ISP, which is a biggie if you ask me. If you have the DEA looking in on you you probably did something to attract their attention, like maybe being tipped of by your ISP that 3 hours a day are spent on grow sites...

Another huge thing, IMO, especially if posting, or even surfing and growing, is you drop any and all other non-marijuana drug related activities. Too many growers go down because they get a little money together and want to start blowing and then selling coke or other shit like that. It seems obvious, but who doesn't know someone that's done or doing just that. It's just dumb and a huge percentage of them go down.
The other is to be extra respectful of the neighbors, no parting, no yelling, no smoking 3 consecutive blunts in the backyard when the neighbors kids are in the backyard playing. Seems obvious, but too many easily slip, and its not worth it. Even if you are a Medicinal holder, why put the good thing at risk, I believe medical smokers should be that much more secretive, so as to preserve their right. Why flaunt and push it, driving someone with power to make a stand and if nothing else cause you a huge headache? These last things would also aid in the case an investigation was launched, cover your bases, and many investigations are let go. Why not increse your chances of this?
I got abit carried away, but I think proxies and respect are enough to carry 80+% of grows through with minimal hassles...

    AHH

The vote next month in CO maybe will pass and they trying again to give pot bad name hard the last 2 months.

all I know is last 7 yrs I took 340 painkillers (not counting meds to cure or try to)a month now I cut out almost 200 with the MMP

It was doctors idea and I did not have to ask for it or pay extra and they were like maybe your organs will last longer again. This was after left eye has to remove a cataract unger 32

So its worth a try and not only did cut pill I dont sound all dopped up as much too. Not in a fog as much and doing more as well.

You know whats sad? If you look at John Locke's "Two Treaties of Government", one fo the most influential documents to our founding fathers in forming the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, Locke explains that we are all bound to "social contracts". This basically says that people never had to form societies, but that we did for our own protection and benefit. It says that when people form a society, we in a way "hire" a government to hold the society together, because most people don't want to deal with setting trade regulations, maintaining public works, and dealing with real illegal problems such as murder, rape, burglary, etc. This means that we are all in a social contract with the US government and the Constitution, for our own benefit. The founding fathers definatly believed in this fact (just check out the Federalist papers). And yet, in modern times, we seem to live in a world where this whole fact has been toppled on its head, and that instead of the government working FOR us, we live in a time where the government is increasingly in control of us. Meanwhile, our connection to control in government is slowly fading, look at how much anyone's vote counted in the 2000 popular election. This NEEDS TO CHANGE! Its ridiculous. There has never been any real substantial evidence that shows a SOCIAL danger in marijuana and its recreational uses, yet since the 1920's the US has propogated a negative opinion against it, successively made it illegal, and now enjoys fucking up otherwise law-abiding citizens who like to smoke on weekend nights with their friends. I think Locke, Jefferson, Madison, and alot of other men from that era and school of thought would look at this situation, as well as the many other hypocritical and unneeded things our government does, in disgust. We need to re-establish the original social contract that the American people had with the Constitution and change this bullshit, if over 50% of the American people find no SOCIAL danger in marijuana, then it should not be illegal! This government is suppose to be working for us for our benefit. Sorry for the rant, but I'm a government major and and avid weed smoker, and these kinda things just really piss me off. Peace yall.
