what are some common words of endearment in Italian? In the English language we have "baby", "honey", "sugar", "sweety", etc. Is it the same or different in Italian? would it be ridiculous to say "lo mio zucchero"? heh.

Zucchero, hmm pretty riddicolous, you'd better use "zuccherino" which is riddicolous, too :)... the most popular words of endearment are "Amore" (Love), "Piccolina" (hmm... it sounds like... Littly), "Cucciola" (in italian "cucciolo" means little animal), and "Bambina" (Baby) is not so common nowadays. Sweet and Honey and Sugar... well in italian we say "Dolce". We use "Stellina" (Little Star), and "Bellissima" (Really beautiful), too. :-D
