My best friend is a guy. He and this gurl have been dating for about 3 months. He REALLY likes her and I am very happy for him. His gurlfriend, however, doesn't like me. I can understand where she is coming from, I do, but I have never done anything to her and she has no reason not to trust me with her boyfriend b/c it is just not like that. I have tried to talk to her but she just gets pissed off and yells!!! I normally wouldn't give a shit, but it is my BEST FRIEND'S g/f. I have tried to talk to him too. He doesn't want to get in the middle of it.

I just don't understand why she won't give me a chance. If she really cares for him then she would atleast try to get along with me. Right?( I am a nice person!) It already has affected mine and his friendship.

I just had to get it off my chest!! Any advice?

umm, kill her with kindness? I really don't know, it's impossible to make someone like you, especially if they've already decided that they're not going to. Maybe you and his GF could hang out alone sometimes, without him around...show her you're not interested in him and that you'd like to be friends with her as well.

It might not work, but I don't really know that there's much else you can do about it.

She might have gotten burned on a past relationship. Maybe one of her boyfriends cheated on her with one of his girl freinds. Or maybe she is just a total controll freak. Either way, they probly wont last. She probly has more mental issues than what you can see right now.
I have very little room to talk though because the guy I am with now used to date my good friend, and now I am with him LOL but his ex cheated on him, and has already gotten married. ANYWAY

You probly should just stay out of her way for the time being. If your friend wants to keep you around, he WILL get into the middle of it. He shouldnt let her tell him, or you what to do.

Hmmm. I don't understand where she is coming from. Please explain. It sounds entirely irrational & perhaps a bit psychotic to me...
