well, Green Day started all of this mainstream pop-punk that you see today, with people that like ,as a previous reply said, "to wear stuff from hot topic". I guess the band feels its their obligation because they are posing as a punk band to speak out against the government and the media. personally, I dont take what they say seriously. If it was someone like some country artist like toby keith speaking out against the government, then I would think twice. Although, I dont see any mindless redneck country fuck even speaking out against the government. It would make me stand back and say, whoa! whats goin on here? I guess, all Im saying is, a pop punk band blasting the media and government is so cliche.

The dixie Chiocks, a country trio, has spoken out about George Bush, their music got boycotted in the states pretty bad, Micheal Moore gave them a nod in his Oscar acceptance speach as well....
yes, thats true, and they also ignited tension between them and toby keith. I wouldnt really consider the dixie chicks country though, they are more pop.

I have to say that i LOVE THIS SONG!!!! I think its got great lyrics and i like it alot basically!! lol....and im gonna buy the album when it comes out....or rather i think its out now so im gonna look for it this weekend. peace and love xxxxxx
