Just a bit of a rant but I live in East Lancashire in the UK and I haven't seen ANY quality weed around for about two YEARS. Anyone else having the same problem around the north west? All that is available is soapbar, which seems to be cheap and reasonably plentiful. And if I'm lucky, I can very occasionally get hold of a '10-bag' of green that is of questionable quanity, quality, strain and origin. Smoking soapbar is driving me mad ... all I want is a 1/4 of good weed that I know what it is and where it came from! I'm even willing to pay over the odds for it! Grrrrrrrr .... lol
In your situation, Spice is the best way to go. I've done a lot of research into growing it myself (even bought Jorge Cervantes' book Marijuana Horticulture) and it's definately something I could manage ... only problem is, I live with my dad who doesn't even know I smoke weed so I couldn't grow it in the house! I've asked a couple of friends if they wanted to grow with me but it's just too risky (nosey landlords could be a problem). As for that Spice Gold, I've ordered a 400mg pack just to see what it's like. I'm quite optimistic because I've seen nothing but good reviews for it! It might not be weed but I'm sure anyone who has had to put up with nasty soapbar will sympatise!
When the area you live in is rife with unemployment, you'll settle for any job that comes your way ... unfortunately, I work at Asda ... or you guys across the pond know it, Wal*Mart ... which is famous for it's low prices and low staff pay! As soon as I land a better job, I'm getting the hell outa Dodge!
Just wanna say thanks to Electronaut for reccomending Spice Gold. Got a 400mg pack in the post this morning and rolled a fat joint about an hour ago and god daaaamn, I'm ripped! I was very sceptical about it but having tried it, I'm very impressed. Compared to the crap weed I've been getting recently, it's a lot more of a trippy/visual kind of high, compared to the usual 'lazy-stoned' that I'm used to. My advise to anyone who can only get shitty soapbar, smoke Spice Gold instead ... it's much better ... and it's legal!
No problem bro. I'm glad you like it, and I think that Spice Original is much better than soapbar too, and at £10 for 3g's(more weight than what I sometimes get for my eighths of bud!) I think it's totally worth it. Spice gives pretty much the exact same high as Gold you just gotta smoke a bit more
I thought Zippy was out of action at present? But yes, either MOM or grow, it's the only sensible option in the UK. Too many fucking plums that don't know what they're doing with a grow, and too many greedy bastards blatantly ripping people off. It is UK wide, and has affected parts of France and Germany, too. And while ignorant, younger and less experienced smokers don't know the difference, or think it doesn't matter, that any smoke is better than none, it will never go away.
