By Iran or another country..... and you were drafted to defend the country by fighting in Iran or Russia.

Would you run away and go to Mexico or Canada, or would you fight for your country?

I would only fight 'for my country' (the United Kingdom) if and only if enemy forces were actively assaulting the land of Great Britain itself ie I would only ever take up arms to help repel an invasion force and would like to think I would die trying if necessary.
I would never ever consent to being part of an expeditionary army attacking a foreign nation.

My 'religion' and personal beliefs both forbid me to kill except in self defence.

If a genuine attack(not false flag), i'd fight. I got 2 kids who rely on me, so i don't know how that would work, but in real war(not this "war on terror" b.s.), i'd do my part.

This has never been "my" or "your" country.

I wouldn't fight in any war because wars always come with an underlying agenda, and the people are merely given a cover story as to why they must go and kill other people who too are victims of their governments actions.

Knowing what I know about history, I know that most wars are staged for geopolitical reasons. Both sides of the first two world wars were funded by the same internationalist financiers to create the desired outcome of an international body called the League of Nations -- later the United Nations.

So, Iran invades this country? Hahahaha! Maybe China or Russia... Honestly, now would be the right time, most of our troops and much of our national guard are away...
So, I most definitely would NOT go anywhere. HERE is where people would be trying to save themselves and HERE is where the need would be for defenders. If we were seriously under attack from ANY country, I don't know anyone who would NOT fight by whatever means necessary to protect their home and family. AND if we were honestly under attack, martial law would be declared and we would have TWO problems. Our own government could very well become the enemy as well. Now that I think about it, I suppose I'd fight until I was forced to give up, and if that happened, I'd bail...

I think I would definitely join the army if they were attacking on our soil. If they reinstated the draft right now, I think I would just go. I wouldn't move to Mexico or Canadia or anything. I would be a little disappointed or angry though because it would disrupt my whole life. I think America should take some of the people in jail for life and on death row and put them in a special army. I think Germany did that in WWII.

I would question the reports about the attacks. If drafted, I'd hightail it.

If you are gungho on fighting for your country, why do they need a draft? My dad and his four brothers didn't need to be drafted after Pearl Harbor. What they didn't understand until years after the war ended, was Pearl Harbor could have been avoided. Perhaps, it was used by certain interest groups to drum up support.

First of all, I don't believe in "my country".

Secondly, Iran won't attack us... they're pro-American. But in case they do, I wouldn't fight.

I'll stay behind and try to maintain the infrastructure of the country that I live in.

Is this a marketing poll? Wouldn't it be stupid to do that. Shouldn't the individual be personally resposible for any murder they committ. Or is murder for a common good considered a pass?

I wouldn't pick up a gun for anyone. If I want to kill someone I'll beat them to death with a baseball bat...that way I'll know that I meant it!

You hear the crunch of the bones, you look them in the eye. It's no where near a distanced thing you had no part in. You have to be responsible...you did it!

Wow, that's truly sad. To think there are young people in this country who are so thoroughly brainwashed. I really do feel for you, mate!

I assume you are making reference to the Yalta Conference, Pressed_Rat? I'd love to hear who in your opinion, was behind pulling the strings of muppet Stalin.

I'm just not the murdering kind, no. I would not actively kill someone for my country, I'd much rather be killed.

Stalin couldn't have done what he did without something called money. Once you know who funded him and why, you know who was pulling the strings and for what reasons. Communism was the creation of capitalists (or what people commonly refer to, or think as being capitalists), and once you understand something called the Hegelian dialectic, you can better understand world events and how two sides are always pitted up against each other to create a desired outcome, or synthesis. Wars are not simply the spontaneous uprisings that many believe, and this holds true to the very day. Wars are always funded and well-planned years in advance. If you look at the current war with Iraq, and the impending war with Iran, you will see that this was all written openly about in the 90's. It has nothing to do with terrorism or nuclear proliferation. That's simply the cover story we are fed and expected to believe without question.

The same people who financed Hitler and Stalin, were the same people funding the alied powers, including the United States. The people I am referring to are the international elite, or Anglo-American Establishment. The central bankers.
