Hey, Im new to this site, and kind of stumbled accross this forum. Anyhow, how is this tribe doing so far? I would sooo love joining up, maybe sometime in June or so. Ive been all over the US since I was 17, and been to some bits and pieces of Canada (I miss it so!). Anyhow, please lemme know something!!

 

nah nothing has been given up, its just been crazy trying to get things settled, and changed, were in hamilton now.....hey we are nomadic...

just checked on the bus, its all good, having a tribe meeting tommorrow, this has been the first time getting online for a while.


american tribe is scattered around, closest bus to fla is in MD, but theres is tribe every where, big consentration in the south west.

trying to organise is an issue were dealing with, grew fast ...maybe too fast.
ive been focused on the canada tribe getting us going, Id have to check with some kids ...most of which dont do the email thing.....makes things hard,

if folks are interested in hooking uyp with the canadian tribe contact some of the other kids on this thread, jay, or joshua, or angela..er ladygrinning soul, or meagen..mussige or something...anyway theyt all post on here, they get afraid of taking the first step to talking to new folks, were working on that.

Hmm are you guys planning on having anymore tribal members? I've always wanted to be part of a bus tribe, a travelling gyspy caravan of sorts has always struck a cord in me. I'm quite good a making jewelry and wirework, I've also dabbed into antler and bone carvings lately. Anyone whom is a bus/van driver and needs willing members to ride about on the bus (assiting with gas, food, ect. of course) I'd love it if you'd drop me a line. I'm always searching for some family

so Im having trouble getting the tribe online at the same time I want to give an update, as the kids were supposed to be showing up here, a week ago.

jays on me about letting him know when he can leave.

Im working my tail off and have quite literally 3 hrs a week to myself to do email and run errands before my responsibilities catch up to me,
josh I need help finding a place, then the rest of the kids can show up, I can get linz to pick you up from kitchener during the week and drive you around if you do the searching.....

as soon as the place is aquired jay you can come, I have jason from arizona waiting in michigan, as well as a few others who want to help out with the cause.

I paid a hundred on the bus bill we owe 7 more to get it from the shop, we still have about 600 worth of unused building supplies on the bus so we can finish the interior as tribe arrives, we need more for the bus but we can attain such things once tribe arrives in hamilton.


as for myself. I need to play a lessor of roles in the tribe, we need to vote on a new organiser, one who will do what I have been doing. handling shit!

all the canadian tribe has stepped up to the plate and have put into the bus thus far 2700 hundred has been put toward buying the bus and supplies, I have put in ...I dont have the exact amount with me but closer to 2000 in supplies and more in man hours.

we need a driver for the bus as I will be working more so on our land requirements,
I have gypsy crdeit which banks dont take...so I got a secured visa and am working on building a credit score on which I can borrow to buy the propertyu for the tribe here in canada. americvan tribe is doing the same.

yeah but credit scores are built by living in babylon for a while......I have a good job and a chance to get some of my shit together here.

the bus belongs to the people, as will the land, once you kids get here we'll get the legal paper work started in getting a few names on the ownership and legal paperwork describing the communal nature of teh tribe and c ommunal opwnership of such properties...co-op and such.


ill be on and off the bus as time goes and will still play a signifigant role, though more in the behind the sceans kinda fashion.


ok so I have the kids all day tommorrow no chance of getting to an internet cafe, pm me and Ill pm you contact info. lets get this moving..........we have T minus 5 mnths before spring.....triobe can leave as early as teh bus is ready that happenes when you kids show up

I know there has been a THC related issue or two throughout the years (sht happens), but I think this thread deserves to be the only stickied thread in the communal living forum. It's a staple after all. That's my opinion anyway.

Ive always wanted this tribe to be more than something created and run by me, and though there is not a leader nor one needed we do however need someone to organise some things.

Hey blinkin, your group sounds way cool. I would love to join but I'm tied to babylon because of child support.Not sure I could earn enough to pay and still live free. I have a hell of a time workin full time and just stayin where I'm at. Anyway good luck and I'm with you in spirit. chaz
