Well here is my background i am about 6'0 maybe 6'1, tall fellow you could say, 170 lbs, and am interested in taking opiates. I have no history of opiates, except for twice when I took 1 5mg hydrocodone, that was expired, to help with a wrist ache. So my tolerance is probably pretty low to them. Im planning on buying some vicodin 10 mg pills for 7-8 dollars each. What would be a good starting doze for a good high? How much is the limit to take, like overdose wise? Last, is there anything I can do to negate any negative effects of them, or to increase the pleasure of them?
Well, it all depends on your own body chemistry when it comes to deciding on dosage. Everyone reacts 180 degrees differently to vicodin: some get nauseous and dizzy, some itch like mad, others feel sleepy, or angry, or have an allergic reaction...or feel nothing at all. Only about 25% of the population even experiences the euphoria effect, according to somethingI read recently. Start small: 10 mgs is a lot. I take half a 10mg and am satisfied with the effects. I'd say definitely don't go above 20mgs your first time. As for decreasing unpleasant effects and increasing pleasant ones, I'd say break the dosage up by not taking it all at one time. Take them about 30 minutes apart to gauge your reaction. Also, I like to smoke weed and ingest caffeine with them, 'cause weed boosts the high and caffeine counteracts the sleepiness of the comedown. Listening to good music is a must. You might feel especially talkative, so it'd be cool to have some friends around. Good luck and be safe!
25% of the population? Then how come its one of the most popular drugs at our school? A good dose man, about 15-20mgs usually starts off someone new. I take around 30-37.5 sometimes to feel great. If you feel slightly sick at all, lay down. 99% of the time it gets rid of the feeling in your stomach.
I only got sleepy/down off of Vicodins the first time I took them. The other times, oddly, I got speedy. And yes, I know for sure it was a Vicodin.
Also remember that the most serious part is not just the narcs in them but the tylenol. Take too much you are asking for liver problems. Be safe man and like one other person suggested try taking them 30 mins apart. I also would read up on them a bit like in wikipedia that's always a good source of info. Be well !
Man, I cant believe you pay 7 to 8 dollars a piece for 10 mg vikes! Around my high school a lot of people have them all the time and the most ive ever heard for a 10 mg is 5 dollars a pop. I honestly dont think i would pay more than 4 for one.
yo bro to be honest Vicoden is probably one of the worst pills to use if you're trying to get an opiate high. There's just too much acetimenophen in them to be worth your time. I realize that you have a pretty low tolerance, but by the time you take enough to get you fucked up you'll probably be getting some sort of stomach ache or other side effect from the apa (acetimenophen). If Vics are all you can get, then go for it, but I would try to at least get a hydro with a higher amount of actual hydrocodone (Lorcet or Norcos). But if you really wanna experience a beginner level opiate high I would try and get your hands on some oxycodone (Percocet, Endocet, Roxicet, etc) it will always say on the bottle whether its oxycodone or not. And if you don't have access to the bottle, just ask your dealer what it is and you can always ask somebody on here what it is. Also if you do happen to get some sort of oxycodone pill, make sure you know how many mg's of oxycodone are in the pill (it will usually range from 5, 7.5, 10). Because I know that many amateur users can't differentiate between one percocet to another and they end up taking more mg. than they realize. I was on 6-10 vicoprofen a day for a couple weeks when i couldnt get my oxy and perc scripts. They were 7.5/200mg so a total of 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone. I also felt a very speedy high, causing me to stay up all night; i got quite a bit of stuff done. Also, what Dopeboy said above is key: it is soo important to know exactly wht the content of your pills are. Too many begining users dont pay attention to the exact substances of their pills and pay for it, if not immedietly, then in the future when they experience the inevitable liver damage that results from an acetaminophen intake approaching 3-4 grams a day, a typical amount for a naive user who has no idea what his or her pills contain. Always check out your pills either on this forum or by typing in the pill's imprint in google. -V
why do people on this forum have to be so elitist? Hydrocodone is probably the second most popular opiate for a reason. It is true that the apap can be dangerous, but its toxic at 7000 mgs, which would be about 70 mgs or 14 pills of standard vicodin (5/500). hydro is a legit high, Ive never talked to anybody in person that spoke badly of them, except recovering addicts. eight is too much, though.
I second that. Hydrocodone is a great pain reliever as well as mind pleaser. This is very childish and idiotic sounding, but I can't keep it in. The first time I took Hydro's my grandfather gave them to me and said these are strong tylenol. I never was into pills, so I didn't know. I grabbed the bottle took about 4 then went to work. I had to paint vertical beams at work. I'm also a salesman, so people would ask me questions while I was painting. I got all goofy and thought the paint was getting to me. I told my coworker that this is the strongest paint I've ever been around. He assured me it was regular paint. It was the pills man, the pills, mixed with the paint. I was mildly hallucinating colors and everything and laughing my ass off at everything. People would ask me things, and I could not stop laughing at them and their questions. I was full of apologies that day. Needless to say it took me a couple days until the next time I took more pills to realize just what 4 Hydro's will do to a beginner. From someone who's well versed in hallucinogens, Hydro's are a different, yet satisfying, thrill.
I'm skinny with no tolerance, and I was quite disappointed with 20mg. And yea, those are absolute awful prices.
Almost every website regarding acetaminophen poisoning advises people not to exceed 4000mg/day for short term use. If you continue using opiates containing acetaminophen on a long-term basis, it's a good idea to get a blood test every 6 months or so to check your liver and kidney function. As for Vicodin and it's euphoric effects, everyone responds differently based on their body, tolerance, and the strength of the drug. In the beginning, when I had no tolerance, Tylenol with Codeine would make me loopy. Then I moved on to Hydrocodone 7.5mg, 10mg when that no longer worked, and then to Percocets. It doesn't take long for the body to build up a tolerance to these drugs and become resistant to the same dosage. I'm not sure about other towns or cities, but, in New York, I know that $7 for a 10mg Vicodin isn't that outrageous.
I've taken 13 hydrocodones in a 8 hour window. So I think you'll be fine. Of course i through up immediately after I ate something, passed out or slept whichever you want to call it, felt fucked up next day till 1 ate something, threw that up, and didn't eat till the next day.
