Yea so a couple of days ago(actually was lastnight), i got smoked up by my roommates friends... which was cool, but really strong stuff. Wasn't that high for a long time, like a couple of years... At one point i wanted to be a pilot :p still thinking about that...

Anywas, they left some pot and my roommate offered to smoke me up again... actually, i dont know whos pot it was... But as i was choping the rest of the pot and i found all this brown shit (maybe tobacco, discusting combo) and a couple of seeds. So im woundering, when you find seeds in your pot, what kind of hint does that give you? is it more potent, crappy, or something im not aware of...

quick stonerologists, answer my question... ;)

You can always find seeds in the pot in DR and it really sucks, but I wouldnt consider myself a stonerologist

all seeds mean is that the plant got pollinated it doesent have anything to do with the potency. however most good growers will seperate the male and female plants and wont allow the plants to be pollinated

depends actually some like a lil pollination to have seeds as a back up for clones..

others cross polinate to get seeds for new strains.

you can actually only pollinate a single bud if that is what ya wanna do..

so no the generalization that most growers never pollinate is false...

I could have sworn that if a plant gets pollinated and has seeds, it doesn't get you as high and doesn't have as much THC... Seeds typically mean lower grade pot, but I have seen some dank nugs with one or so seed in a 1/4oz

after the bud has been pollinated, much of it's energy is spent on reproduction (producing seeds) rather than producing more resin. that's not to say some seeded bud won't be more potent than sensi, sometimes it is.

What mellowphish said is true 100%. When they are pollinated they shift some of their energy to making seeds instead of producing thc and resin glands.

the amount of seeds matters a lot too
if you get like 4 or five seeds in an once thats different then if it was just riddled with seeds obviously

lets just put it this way-

seeds in good pot = good
seeds in bad pot = bad
