eye drops and contact lenses

i wear contacts, and it seems like i can never wear them while im smoking or my eyes get totally bloodshot. they normally dont get very red when im not wearing them, only if ive been wearing them all day. i have tried many different brands of contact lense eye drops, and none of them seem to work, some even make it worse. any brand recommendations or suggestions?

 

i use acuvue 2 i think and i basically sleep with them in and will wear one pair for like 2 months, even though your supposed to change them every 2 weeks and take them out at night. With that said you can see that my eyes arnt sensitive at all compared to some people who cant stand having them in. Anyways, contact lense eyedrops are just saline and arent made to take the red out. Visene always wokrs fine for me with or without contacts.

 

You want something with redness remover in it. I prefer clear eyes to visine because it feels "wetter" but even generic store brands red out drops work well for me.

I can't wear contacts beccause my eyes are too sensitive, so they should work for you too.

I have some eye drops that I use whenever my eyes hurt from my contacts. They are RiteAid brand and they are called "Artificial Tears." They are the only eye drops that sooth my eyes when they hurt. I don't know if they clear the redness from my eyes though, I've never been high when I've used them. They make my eyes a tad cloudy when I have contacts in so then I use my regular eye drops to clear them out.

I don't know if that helps but there you go.

By the way, you could just just say the contacts make your eyes red sometimes.

 

Well you could go to the doctor, say you have chronic dry eye, and get a script for Restasis. I love RohtoV Ice though. Some people think they aren't worth it since they burn like a bitch, but I love the feeling of them.
