i honestly don't know what criteria i use to pick a partner
i go with my gut , but i'm often way too logical.. over thinking things

months. it was an extensive interviewing process. yeah, we were fucking like crazed bunnies in heat, but that's not a garaunteed relationship. and we didn't consider getting married and having children for a couple years after that. neither of us had the greatest hope for marriages. and to this day, the reason why we're still in love is because we talk stuff out instead of letting emotions rule our reactions.

the only thing i can say is things just happen...fall into place if you will...sometimes you get lucky and find someone special...most of the time its a win/lose scenario...in your mind you win because you feel like you feel complete...but then, like clockwork you either A)find you and this person are incompatable and its time to get out or scenario B) due to some fault of your own fuck the whole thing up...i.e...you fucking lose my friends...most of the time for me, its scenario B...and thats when as leonard cohen so eloquently put it...you accept the fact that you can never win, you must abandon your masterpiece and step into the real masterpiece...
