saving the green dorms for my college

hi my name is allister and i go to new college of california in san francisco. our college was converting an old hotel into a green building that would have been an environmentally friendly communal dwelling for students. all students living within it would cook meals together, interact on a regular basis, and have an extra class about communal living and intentional communities.

the college has abandoned the project, but i am trying to save it, and i have been told by the old director that if i can find people or businesses interested in helping out financially, creatively, or just interested in helping by being supportive, that there is a chance i can get the college to bring this program back.

i was wondering if any of you might know of any companies that might have a soft spot for environmentally friendly/ intentional communities, or had any words of support or wisdom for me as i embark on this project.

not asking you all for money, i just wanted to share what was up and see if any of you had any ideas or comments for me. thanks for listening
