The concept of being suspended

I just don't get it.
So they catch you at school with weed...
so they suspend you
so then you can stay at home all week while your parents are out.
What else are you going to do besides smoke weed?
Seems like a holiday to me.

 

yea, except they expect most parants would take off work to make sure their kids diddnt smoke and that the parants would raid your room. plus here in the states you get expelled if you bring weed to school

 

Speak for yourself man, I've attended three highschools, two of which the penalty is a 10 day suspension.

Yeah, you get to sit at home all week and smoke weed, but you aren't in school doing your work. Some schools allow you to make that work up, in which case your going to suddenly be over-burdened with work when you get back. Other schools don't, in which case your grades are going to drop as a punishment. I'm sure somebodys going to say 'well what kind of punishment is that, most stoners hate doing schoolwork anyways.' A 10 day suspension where you can't make up any work would drastically hurt anyones grade, which just makes it harder for you later in life. It's the student and the student's parents responsibility to make sure the work gets done, because it's your grades and your future. If you get suspended for smoking weed, any good parent would make damn sure your doing as well as you can for the rest of the year so you can graduate/go on to college.

 

What's the deal with all these 14 year old stoners? Do you start smoking weed because it's the cool thing to do?

 

out of school suspensions rock, you get to sleep all day and do watever, no punishment in my eyes. In school suspensions suck ass though..

 

I doubt parents would stay home from work.. just to make sure there kid isn't smoking weed. most parents got more important things to worry about, like paying the bills and puttin food on ur plate.

Just because someone found the wonderful herb at 14 doesnt mean that its the cool thing to do. Why do you smoke? And noone thats posted here is 14 so that was quite random.

 

Suspension in my school sux for weed. Cause not only do you still have to go to school, you have to go to a church and just sit there while about 5 teachers just sit there and stay with you. and its for 5 days...some bullshit

 

I know you probably don't want to hear more bullshit, but why would it matter if you start smoking earlier? It's not a crime to find the gift of herb in your freshman year. Wait... nevermind.

The only catch is you can't turn in any homework you missed... And it tended to be a lot.... So grades are the main motivation...

Man when i was in highschool i smoked weed all day. before school, in between classes, at lunch, after school. and once or twice i even did it in class. in photo class i would just blow the smoke into a backpack, the teacher was always in the darkroom anyways. then he would walk back into the classroom and be like "whos been lighting matches!!!" haha

i never got caught once for smoking weed. and beleive me i did it openly and without caution. But then again, i went to a shitty school.

Get your education kids. i guess thats the moral of the story here

I've been caught at school before and I've only been suspended once for it but warned twice. The teachers all know what I do when Im at school so I'm constantly watched.

But heres one tip of advice, they cant search you know matter what they say.
I've been told that if I didnt hand over my weed they'd call the cops and I refused so when they called the cops I ate the weed and then they had no proof :nopity:


Thank good it was only a gram, and stupid me ate the little bag it was in too

 

if you're caught with weed in canada its 3day suspension from school and like 10h community service

 

i'm 14, started smoking at 12. someone offered it to me, i said "fuck it, why not?" and my life's been great since.

I'm sure your a cool guy but thats pretty sad. its your future? Grades aren't real, its just a made up system to judge what you are forced to produce, thats so lame.....huh, if there could only be a way to learn without such a place as a public school building...

 

I rememer i waged 4 days one time n got caught so they suspended me for 3 days
just chiiled at home smokeing with my other mate who got caught to.

 

This thread reminds me of the concept of being suspended for skipping school. The punishment for not going to school is.....not going to school?!?!?!

How stupid is that?
