Can weed make you mildy trip out?

Just wondering if it's possible to get an effect from weed that's similar to LSD (obviously milder, but still similar)?

 

Some people may say yes, but in my opinion it's the person and not the drug.

 

I haven't try LSD or any hallucinogens(yet), so I don't know if this is similar to those effects, but my vision sometimes gets kind of distorted. Remember that screen saver that looked like there was a ball rolling underneath your computer screen? That's sort of like what I sometimes see.
