I backcombed, and then they're basiaclly just left alone. Palmrolled for the first week, then got tired of it. My best advice? Get a wool tam, and wear it for two weeks. Dont take it off except to wash them and let them dry. The wool against them really cuts down on the frizzyness, it seems.
looking totaly sick!! you have the best hair texture ever, they look amazing, escpecially for two months!
to the wool tam tip - i started my dreads at a somewhat short length and am in this to see these guys all the way through - for the long haul - so right now i dont think a tam would even be effective with my hair length. my hair is probably 6-7 inches currently. some dreads that are tighter are much shorter, but loose hairs (there are still plenty around the temples and nuca). but maybe in a year i will have sufficient hair to fill a tam?
just get any kind of wool hat. i notice a difference when i coop my hair up in a hat or tam, even if it's just overnight. it can help at every stage, in my opinion.
the wool hat i happened to have laying around was always a bit big for my head, but now it fits like a glove over my little dreaded guys and i cant believe the difference! seriously only 24 hours after putting it on they feel so much more together
