Driving

How is driving while tripping? Seems like it could be done, just not sure about how good of an idea it is.

 

Not for someone not use to tripping, but then again I wouldn't recommend driving under the influence of anything. It really just puts a reason out even more as to why certain drugs get the social feel to being illegalized. But yeah just for the "it can be done" line, I do know somebody who claims they can drive while tripping, but I wouldn't start experimenting if I was you.

Losing certain physical perceptions while driving can't be a good mix imo.

well depends how far you got to drive. if its just a few backstreets...
if its a must and well ofcourse depends how much youve taken and how experienced you are, with both acid, and driving.

iv driven on 4 pills of PMA and drove onto the sidewalk thinkin i was goin up the wrong side of the highway, stopped the car in the middle of the road for 10 minits at a time cause i forgot i was driving. was going about 10 K's the whole way.
id be driving and be like "holy shit" im driving. it was scary very scary. all the while we were goin in circles for 2 hours near my friends house, drove past his houise im sure dozens of times without knowing even what we were doing.

other times id be swerving off to the sides and couldnt even accelareate or break properly. i mean it was fucked. scared me and my friends alot, but we had to do it. well needed to. not like i was being a dick or anything at all like that, was tryin my hardest.
was drunk numerious times, one time lost control and almost hit a pill and landed the hole car completly onto the sidewalk.
scary shit.
dont drive on drugs.
im just lucky

ive driven on numerous psychedelics but only because i had to, i took 4-aco-dmt on time and had to drive during the peak it was scary as hell

 

Please add this question in your LSD faq. Just an idea to add few lines what is not advisable to do on acid, and maybe one chapter what is advisable, so the new family members do not end up watching tv or similar bullshit just because they don't know what to do.

 

i've only driven after i peaked on an acid trip, which was totally fine, and i really wanted tacos. i drove on shrooms and that was so fucked, but i only had to go a few blocks so it was mainly just topsy-turvy and ridiculous. i drove a long way coming down that same trip and it was still pretty weird, my ability to judge distance was really fucked.

back about 1980 we did 2 hits a piece jumped in a vw bug and took off to panama city from atlanta.. i guess it was around midnight when we left..
we were figurin on bein in pc just before daylight as it is about a 6 hour drive.

about 8 in the morning we realized we were in mississippi on the border with louisiana,,not anywhere close to panama city lol,, we even stopped for gas at some point and still didnt realize we were going the wrong way...

i remember goin down the interstate ,,,it was like we were in a hamster wheel ..

we used to trip and drive all the time. i can only remember being in 1 accident directly related to tripping,and that was on MDA and not LSD.. that was caused by the eye shuffle..

still i dont think id recommend it...

 

On a smaller doses it can be done if you have to, but really stay away from driving.
Ketamine??? Uhh, that's even worse idea lackily it doesn't last that long as acid so any driving can be done after.

 

I myself never drove on acid, i worry too much about whatd happen if i wound up pulled over and had to explain myself to a cop, but my one buddy loves driving when he's trippin, even if he's peaking. I have no idea how he does it because he drives a stick.

 

ive drivin on acid and mushrooms before, acid is fucked but not too difficult as long as your not tripping real hard, mushrooms is an adventure you really have to focus yourself to be able to drive somewhat normal and when you focus on mushrooms thats when you seem to tripout hard on something, just dont drive tripping balls if your kinda fucked up its not a big deal, driving drunk is way worse than tripping i would say

 

i think there is a compulsion involved in driving while under the influence. if you dont drive somewhere, you dont have to drive back. if you know youre gonna be out of it, dont drive there. at any rate, humans as a race should get used to walking. personal cars are one of the worst things ever invented, although we often think they are the best thing ever invented when we are tired or want something badly.

 

i drove in the peak of an acid trip on the weekend. i had one drunk friend in the front with me and 2 trippers in the back. i came to some red and green lights, and had no idea what red or green meant. the roads i was looking at i couldnt intereperet, i was seeing it, but it made no sense at all.

i couldnt beleive i drove, and on the way back i let my drunk friend drive, cause of a few scares. anyway he hits the front wheel on the curb goin 80k's and the "car jumped". meanwhile us trippers are freakin, grabbin the wheel, screaming stop the car. that was scary.

I think it's quite possible to drive on a single hit or during the comedown from a more intense trip, but I would never recommend it... driving while peaking on anything more than a hit is no different than drunk driving to me and is extremely irresponsible and against the entire nature of LSD.

 

My first time tripping we were in a random field and there were a bunch of tractors and my friend broke out one of the windows (why I do not know) and cops came and some how we got away while we were peaking but I had to drive in front of the cops. I tried driving home and the road was narrowing and it was the scariest thing ever. I highly do not reccomend it. On the other hand I can drive on a half eighth of mushrooms...

 

and please, dr. bill, enlighten me - how the hell do you expect me to walk the 10 miles back home after the pink floyd laser spectacular!?!

 

no shit... i was at a panic show the other day and everyone there was dosed and hanging out on the lot. Then 30 minutes after the show was over officer lardass and his minions came busting through there with his "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here!" then he starts pinning dready kids up against vans and like everyone scatters in their cars at high speeds. I wasn't around to check the obits the next morning. In retrospect i think driving on a pretty good dose of k is A LOT safer (for me at least) than driving on a pretty good dose of L.
