does your significant other have dreads?

I wish! My S.O has a shaved head!!! His hair gets 1cm long and he complaines that he feels hot and chlostrophobic so i'm guessing he's not gonna get em, although he siad if I really wanted him to he would . . . bit that would just be mean!

 

I didn't vote because I don't have dreads anymore. I took them out because my hubby didn't like them. Anyway, I would probably die of bliss of my hubby decided that he wanted dreads. In which case, I'd toss my brush and never look back.

 

i technically couldn't say yes or no...i guess. my girlfriend has been washing with Dr. Bronner's since i got dreads, and she has one dreadlock on the back of her neck^^. it's really neat when she pulls her hair up, and you just see this knot of hair^^

she says she'd get dreads but she would miss running her fingers through her hair....lol

 

Yeah, that's the thing that drove me crazy, was that my hair didn't feel free anymore and I couldn't run my fingers through it.

 

I wish he did But he likes his shaved head. :sigh: Oh well to each his own

my boyfriend never ever brushes his hair and is nowhere close to having dreads. whereas i stopped brushing my hair 3 weeks ago and already have 15 or so in the back of my head. he has some of the thickest silkiest hair i've ever seen on a dude and i have dry crazy curly hair.... meh. he does grow a sweet beard, though!!

 

Yes, he does. After I'd had mine about a month, he said he'd like to have them too. Then he almost shaved his head when he had his 'OMG what did I do?' day, but I talked him out of it. His are tighter than mine now!

Mine doesn't. He digs mine though. First guy I ever dated that did not get freaked out by me wanting dreads! Thank goodness for him.

When I met my hubby we were together 6 years before I admitted I wanted to be a dreadhead. He hates them, and cant see what I see in them, but he loved me enough to let me do it anyway, and supported me when I did it. Unpicking them had nothing to do with him, and he's going to support me when I do it all over again! Which isnt bad considering he had to put up with endless months of 'has it changed yet?, is it tightening up do you think?' or.... 'feel this one, look, its got a loop in it!'. LOL He was soooo patient. bless him.
