I have payed for a video game called civ4 and i cant even play it properly why? because it requires a patch and the patch requires winzip to install it and because my trial period is over i have to pay for winzip if i want to use it BULLSHIT. I can update the game inside the game automatically but it updates to version 1.74 instead of 1.61, why do i need 1.61 instead of the lates 1.74? because 1.74 doesn't work... period... for anyone apparntly. Bullshit sid bullshit. Anyone have any ideas on how i can unzip my file?
Lol. yeah winrar will work. Either that or you can edit the Windows registry so that WinZip thinks the trial period has expired.
Im not computer savvy enough, im having hard enough time getting civ4 to run properly, let alone screwing with registries... although i do have to patch it and edit the game code... pitty sid didnt make it a bit simpler...
Wicked in the fact that it's bloody evil... I am going to have to upgrade my computer if i want to play it properly which really shits me off because i have the so called "recommended requirements" but apparantly 512 mb of ram is not nearly enough...
Well good thing i have XP then... it maybe true that 512Mb isn't much but if it's not enough to run then game then they shouldn't say it is on the box, it is an blatant lie... if they said 512Mb was the minimum requirments that would have been fair, but they seem to think 256Mb RAM is minimum which is basically enough to start the game without crashing... DAMN LIARS
