nobody wants to trip with me they all look down on acid (well, most of them). should i trip alone? I'm pretty experienced.
I alone is how it has to be, do it. I think tripping alone can be great, though I always find myself wanting to share my experiences. Then again, I've only tripped alone on weak doses, never a lot.
ive tripped alone before but this is some curiously strong stuff. I just dont get how people think shrooms are innocent yet they look at acid like its meth or crack or something. you'd figure people would realize shrooms and acid are basically the same in terms of shit that can go bad. whatever though i dont mind it, 12 hours beats 8 any day.
Maybe we can all send you our picture. Stick them to the wall and you won't feel alone anymore. How anybody can be alone on acid? Why doing that to your self?
its really sad youre so far away, i wouldve deff drivin like an hour or so... but to vegas.. HA. but yeah, trippin alone is a bunch-o-fun
Taking LSD especially high doses alone is the only sensible option. Other people can be to distracting and possibly negative influences. Taking it alone and pushing through the fear is the only way to gain the deepest insight into yourself. Climb the holy mountain solo because the doors of perception are open to the individual only. However if you only want to take a lower dose (no point really) then get your freinds around and fuck about dropping acid for kicks only.
You might as well, LSD will show you pure love with or without someone. You've got to be careful though, doing it alone you might miss the peak!!!
Yeah I wonder the same myself. People tend to perceive acid as some crazy ass shit. To me crazy is meth, crack, and opiates. My theory about why the general perception of acid is negative is that in the 60s, the gov't did a damn good job of fear-mongering the public into thinking LSD is an extremely dangerous substance. People grew up with that perception and they instilled that in the next generation and the next to the next and so on. I try my best to clear up people's perception of acid but it's been tough. Personally, I find psilocybin trips to be a bit more challenging than acid. It is incumbent upon us who like acid to spread the truth about it and combat disinformation spread about it by the forces that be.
you know why the government did such a good job? because they saw the potential it had, at turning their "robots" into humans that could think for themselves, and say, "hey, wait a second, the way the government is shaping us is bullshit". lsd gives people the ability to break away and think for themseves. ofcourse the government doesnt want that. they want to controll everyone and be in supreme power.
i loooooooved tripping alone!!!!!!!! it was life altering. i wasn't alone for long--once i was peaking aliens came and spent a few hours blowing my mind. i can't wait to do it again!
Its not the way government is shaping us, its society. Our society is dysfunctional. I believe that historically there has been a direct correlation between the level of advancement - of "progress" - and the level of dysfunction in terms of the individual being's level of fulfilment and happiness. In other words, the more "advanced" the society became (that is, the farther it removed itself from respect for, and alignment with, natural laws and cycles), the more dysfunctional it became in terms of the individual being's feelings of self-respect and fulfilment. Its this whole idea of a developed world - the government is simply apart of that. You look at aboriginal cultures and the way they raise children and how they meet their emotional, mental, and spiritual health needs - its like the saying it takes a village to raise a child. Our normal societal model for what constitutes an ideal family is dysfunctional. So when you say lsd gives the individual the ability to break away and think for themselves - its not in respect to government, but to parents. I mean, this may be a big generalisation and it obviously doesn't apply to everyone, but its at the heart of the modern day human condition..i believe
it was a dividing tool, simple and plain. division equals confusion, confusion equals intervention. after the division that called for expansion of government, they limited the lsd, as the government was the original source. now that they got what they wanted, (which is obvious when you see america right now is as divided as it ever was), they took it back. but even then, a counter culture is always good for them, as long as they have a grip on the majority of society.
The gov't is the people. At the risk of sounding snobby and arrogant, I'll say it: the general public is stupid and apathetic. Look at who got re-elected in '04 in the USA. Look at who's running and winning the elections right now in the USA: warmongers, liars, and Jesus freaks. There's still tons of people who still think evolution is a theory and the Bible is definitive. Acid rips away these societal conditioning from some people allowing them to think and reach a conclusion about life and liberty by themselves. And that cannot be tolerated at any large level by the people who want the status quo to remain unchanged.
