Okay, I know the year isn't over yet, but what're some of your most memorable memories of the year?

Mine is probably, once again, Glastonbury and meeting a few people from the forum. Also, having to roll joints for Sal in the middle of an incredibly muddy field whilst I was on pills, then Sal being amazingly impressed with my superior rolling ability and speed! Muahaha!

Glastonbury certainly put a few memories in the 'keeps' pile :)

The 'John' signal you all got going up at the Stone Circle was pretty amazing! Don't think I'll forget that like :) - I went to see Arcade Fire on Monday at Newcastle Arena, don't think I'll forget that for a while either - Amazing show. If they're coming to your town next couple of weeks, get yourself along I say.

I was so sky high at parties this year I really cant remember much of it !
I think I took the most ever acid me or any of my mates have done in one go 6 tabs, and walking through a field of tents at a festi (dont ask me where I havent a fucking clue it was a weekender where I was stoned and had snorted speed before leaving the house and got back while coming down off the acid) Anyway for about 8 hours I was convinced I was at King Arthurs fucking battle grounds and a war was gonna start with the French who were over another hill. Freaked me right out. People looked wierd
like their faces were blurred and they were just like floating colours that could talk.
I aint ever taking that many again

Hehehe, it was coz Dan couldn't roll and I was fucked! But yes, that was a great night and Glastonbury was wicked. One night at Eastern Haze when I met loads of randomers who'd just blagged their way into the festival, crazy night, great memories or lack of them. Starting my new course, finishing my novel, getting my degree and getting a 1st in my finals all rate pretty highly in my memories....

Pretty tame comapred to your glastonbury ones! I think my memory is of climbing over rocks in Wales and discovering a perfect waterfall, which was perhaps one of the most peaceful moments of my life, (or wa that when I stared out to sea for about half an hour and a lifeguard came and asked me if I was ok?). I will also definitely remember going to the peak district and campoing, wlaking through dovedale was just amazing, so much to atke in! And just getting on as a family, it was so great!. I'm always going to remember getting my GCSE results, I was shaking for 10 minutes after i'd opened them, and the visit in the rain to our local zoo, sitting with the bats with my best mate and talking about life and stuff. I'll have the memory (or I won't) of the first time I got drunk, I was a late starter at 15! It's been a busy year, looking back, and I hope next year is just as eventful, if not more so!

That horrendous queue for the buses on the way out of Glastonbury:confused:

i feel like i'm having a 'hazy' year as well.

um ... about to celebrate a 3rd year wedding anniversary (that will be a memory after Sunday).

other than that, this has been the year of creativity. learning to make fimo beads, learning how to crochet (better), finishing off tons of cross stitch projects. lots of good memories in that vein.

    :D

2007, a year when we finally knew how much the olympics would cost us. For me, the memory of the year has to be Diana concert.

Hahaha...Bless ya. Definitely the worst queue I've ever been in like. But I was actually encouraged by all the whinging I could hear! I didn't want to look or feel anything like those poor, slumped souls :D

Plus an elderly gentlemen in good spirits himself started telling me about the history of tobacco. And he skooched my bag along for me when I had to make rolli's :beatnik2:
