...something in your dream feels exceptionally real? What kind of dreaming is that? Is it just regular dreaming? I know it wasn't lucid, because I wasnt aware I was dreaming. I'm just curious.... anyone know?
It depends on how you define real, whether it was smelling flowers or having sex. We all know that sex feels real but there is something beyond that, say, something like succubi. If you don't believe in such things then it really doesn't make any difference. On the other hand, we could experience beautiful music caused by external noise, like a babbling brook or birds sings or crickets, etc. Chances are that if you were dreaming and someone covered your whole body in whipped cream that you'd have some very realistic dreams of floating on pillows.
What felt real was the other person. In fact, he was the ONLY part of it that felt real. Like I could physically feel his neck in my hand, and the stubble along his jawline. And I could *feel* his hand cupping my face, his breath, stuff like that. Other than that, nothing felt exceptionally realistic, other than the fact that the colors (blue and green only, everything was blue and green) were extremely vivid.
this thing called lucid seems to have become some kind of 'holy grail'; so if you're fishing for someone to tell you that, i'm sure someone will. yes, what goes by that name is real enough, but i see it as only a matter of degrees, and that way to much big of a deal is being made about it. =^^= .../\...
