Once more, ......Fidel is a big boy who sized the reins and held them through the embargo, assination attempts, war in Angola and Grenada, The colapse of the Soviet Union. Ya...... that photo of the kid being taken at gunpoint was powerful. There are hundreds of famlies which are separated by the Cuba-US divide who are awaiting a release to immigrate to The US. What was so special about Eliam Gonzalez ? Was he being abused or deprived or something? Did we have to turn the Justice Dept into a division of DYFS ? and hand Fidel a propoganda coup?
