I just finished reading this latest book by Kurt Vonnegut, and I would highly recommend it. In his characteristic style of writing, he bashes Bush and Cheney, and the corporate elite, whom he calls Psychopathic Personalities, or PPs. PPs have no social conscience, so they are ideal for the bottom line in politics and industry, because they are very decisive, which is easy if all you care about is profit, instead of the well being of the people. Therefore it's not surprising that they do so well in today's cut throat environment.
