I never heard of it til recently and now it's on the news all the time. All these kids dying in schools around here but until a week ago I have never heard of it...
No, click on the link... it's a flesh eating disease... said on the news it starts off looking like a pimple or bug bite- highly contagious and used to be mainly contained to hospitals...
Suuuuuree... Jk... I'm actually not worried either. Just been hearing about it a lot around here and didn't know if it was just around here.... I mean I would be worried though if people right near me started getting it (like my apt. complex or some shit, heh)
this computer is way too slow for me to be clicking on any links so ya k fleash eatinmg disease thanks a;lso ya i was conmtempatoing a thread about "is there any5thing worse than a slow computer whan you are alreadfy feeling anxious" but now i just got it out withought having to do so and you just saved me a wpold pof time thanks
I'm a post modern apocalyptic. I welcome the end times. Bring it on MERSA! I remember SARS was two years ago. Then Bird Flu. Once I see many people are dying, I'll be worried. untill then, I say hype.
That is until you're overrun by the dying and infected fleeing the surrounding cities and towns who were ravaged by the disease Hotwater
likely. it's nothing really new. but the media has latched onto it pretty fucking hard, since all the old stuff like iraq, immigration, education, taxation and such has lost it's ability to TERRIFY the typical news viewer.
i know the high school in my neighborhood had to be shut down and thoroughly cleaned. and a few colleges in new england have had outbreaks.
yeah. it's pertty common anywhere you have loads of people and activity. especially hospitals, places where people aren't know for their hygiene or ability to stay home when they're ill, or where the sheer number of people walking through there on a daily basis and the funds available make it impossible for the puny hypochodriacal (made up word i think) american immune system to handle. my god, we live in a hyper medicated society now. no wonder everyone is getting sick.
