I got pics in my puter that would be make great avatars. Anyone know how to upload a custom avatar? This is obviously a crisis of epic proportions! It would also be cool to be able to add pictures to my posts but when I select the pic, nothing happens. Someone told me when I got 100 posts I could get a signiture but that didn't work either. I just can't... (sob) go on any more!lol
i don't think that you need 100 post before you can have a signature. at least i think i had my signature before that. i haven't tried the custom avatar yet.
so how does it work? the signature I mean. there's the box there on the right that says my photos and my photos from my gallery pop up in a little box when I click on "select", but then when I click on a photo the box goes away and nothing changes. there must be something I'm missing.
huh, that doesn't seem right. while editing your signature, you should just have to click on the picture that you want. (after you bring up your gallery photos) and it should instantly appear on your signature. i don’t know what to tell ya. it seems as though you’re doing everything right. have you tried to have a signature with just text? will it allow you to do that?
I guess not. My computer has more bugs than an ant farm though. There seems to be a lot of things I can't do on this peice of crap I got. Oh well. I love the "attempting to give a damn" thing! lol That's hysterical! HEY!!! I DID IT!! YAY!! Cool! Now if I can just get this thing on your post to give a damn! lol P.S. Hmmm I guess it's just a one time shot though. I just tried to do it on another post and got an error message telling me that I already uploaded it on this post. This website must hate me. Oh, well.
TESTING 123 (I think I might have it now. I'll find out when I post this.) It worked! The problem was just finding the "edit signature" option which was hiding from me in the "your options" screen. Problem Solved!arty:
man i didn't even think to ask if you were in the 'edit signature' menu. but any way, congrats on figuring out the signature. :applause: now if you can figure out how to personalize your avatar you'll be set. by the way, if you do figure that out will you let me know how? i would also like to know how to change that 'member' thing under my handle. do you know how to do that? or would anyone like to share information on how to do either?
