who killed Stan Meyer (water car inventor)

Stan Myer is one of the worlds geniuses that ranks with Tesla, Otto, and Diesel. He invented a machine which could split hydrogen from ordinary tap water and built a car so efficient it would run from the east coast to the west coast of the USA on 27 gallons of water. Thats tap water, water from a ditch, sea water you name it you could use it as a free fuel. One year from his scheduled production date he dies, after claiming that for $1000 he could convert any car. The USA oil market is worth 200 BILLION dollars a year to the arabs, they offered Meyer 1 Billion dollars to sit on his idea and do nothing with it, he refused, he dies, so was it the USA had him killed or the arab states???
