I thought it was very relaxing and brought a greater awareness. When youre meditating think of all the other people meditating worldwide. Feel the peace that theyre feeling and try to feel a connection between you and everyone else. Try sending them all your love and that you receive all of theirs. I thought it was just great feeling the connection.
What you are feeling, is the disintergration of the self. The mind is eventually made aware of this and thinks that it thought of it all by itself. It's a little slow. To be able to feel all people is the goal of any compassionate soul. Because in doing so, you come to understand the nature of all things. Meditation needs a focal point. To find it in all humanity is a time well spent. x
I agree with Chris92, I usually send my "metta meditation" also called loving kindness meditation to everyone in the world. Metta means loving kindness in Sanskrit. I sincerely think that the connection between people is there when we meditate, it is also the energy or power mind communication.
