oriental poppy vase

recently made this as a thank you gift. Was inexpensive to make, and I think it turned out quite nice!!

thanks! I worked off a free internet pattern, but freehanded the tweaked image onto the vase... had to tweak it to make it fit, did some editing... you know, the usual type of thing you have to do when working from a pattern that isn't originally yours!

The vase is glass. I used "gallery glass" stained glass paint on it. Easy as pie to do.

Thanks everyone! I gave it to them last night at the giant Halloween bash at work. They really liked it. Also had another regular approach me about making something simular for his wife for Christmas!
