    You have to see it all in context. Both Bach and Mozart are great - they are great though in different ways.

    It would be foolish to imagine that Mozart didn't recognize the debt he owed to J.S.Bach, and we know from records of his friendship and respect for C.P.E.Bach whom he met as a young man.

    I'm going to see Die Zuberflute soon at the Met. I think it is very whimsical and fun. The range Motzart gives his female divas is mind bending. They go from way up high and down again in an instant. I can''t wait to hear the Queen of the Night do her famous aria. Don Giovani and The magic flute are genius.

    if you understand music at its purest like this masters played, how can you compare and contrast, just enjoy your preference and leave it at that.

    A gret composer,a genious ho show all the beauty in the world,the univers of the human in his music.How he canot be the greatest composer?

    There are greatest artist, i think Mozart was one of them but there are other, like PAGANINI who changes de music, and what about Shumman?
