Do you ever get that Hollow feeling?
Where you are a tad bit sad and in a daze?

I am most definitely feeling hollow right now.

Do any of you know what I'm talking about?

You've described the ages between 13 and 20 for me.

I know you've just lost someone you deeply care about. The only advice I can offer is that the worst times in our lives, help us realize what's really important to us.

You will value friendship more deeply now. I know that doesn't help narcotize anything.

But things will get better. And you'll have that knowledge to bear that takes some people a life time to get.

Thing's will get better young friend. I Promise.

the only time i haven't had is when i haven't had to live with anyone, or within earshot of their 'entertainment'. maybe not the same hallow you're talking about. more like a constant state of anxiety that mostly goes away when i'm asleep and dreaming. or by myself for a while and able to count on continuing to be. for that while that i can anyway.

I think its because of just the over all everything.

    The assholes at school
    Austin's Death
    Andrew leaving me
    My parents being dicks
And the fact that I can't remember anything I was supposed to be learning in school for the past 3 weeks.

Everythings just making me notice the smaller things without really noticing them.
    You following?

I think that everyone here has been through this feeling many a time before.

It’s just something that we all go through at some points in our lives. We all learn and grow from these experiences differently.

I’ve lost a few good people close to me before too. I know that your probably hearing this a lot lately but I know its hard. When something like that happens to you, you don’t think you can cope or ever stop grieving at first. In the beginning you just don’t care about anything. It’s horrible. But you just have to keep going as best that you can and eventually it does get easier, you never forget, but it does get easier. I can promice you that much. :)

i keep wanting to email my cousin, sonny. but he died last summer. it's wierd. i can't seem to delete his email address from my email and i ca't stop thinking of cool things to talk about. wanting to call him, wanting to joke around. i can't relly even bring myself to call his mother, my favorite aunt, because the hurt starts all over again. so i have this empty spot. but it does get a little less painful every time it happens.
